Key Departures: Chris Chorzepa, Brian Amato, Quinton Birchall

Key Returnees: Christian Zotti (sr.), Brian Goncalves (sr.), Andres Del Valle (sr.), Brendan Zotti (jr.)

Outlook: The Newington Indians lost some strong talent, including All-Conference wrestlers Chris Chorzepa and Brian Amato, but the talent returning has Newington feeling good about the upcoming season. With a 16-9 record a year ago, the Indians have two more All-Conference wrestlers returning in seniors Christian Zotti and Brian Goncalves. Senior Andres Del Valle and junior Brendan Zotti will also prove to be key assets for Newington.

“We are looking forward to competing against some great competition across the state and New England,” head coach Eric Soucy said. “It’s great to have the team working hard together and we are excited for the matches ahead.”
